I decided to purchase this kit as it comes with extras that most of the other AU Focus kits online don't come with, which in my opinion is the best bang for your buck. The checker plate cover, mounting plate, and aluminium heater protective housing would have cost me much more if I were to have purchased them separately.
FYI, before purchasing this kit I had purchased the AU Focus heater kit from another retailer for around $650 and they had sent me the old model even though the product photos and description said it was the newest model. I immediately returned it and asked for a refund (which I had to fight for). Buying this product is particularly tricky because I noticed many other retailers do the same where they say it's the newest model but when I called in they would say that it was NOT the newest model. Anyway, through some digging and research I'm happy to have stumbled upon this kit and this company as it is the newest model.
On the quality of the AU Focus heater itself - Installed it about a few months ago and it works beautifully. It's efficient, cost effective, and runs very quietly. It heats up my medium sized caravan fairly quickly. This is definitely the way to go if you don't have a huge budget but still want a decent quality diesel heater unlike the really cheap Chinese brand ones. I have a few friends who have this same heater and one of them has had issues with it but they have said that the warranty and customer service from AU Focus is outstanding, so I value the peace of mind you get as well.
On the customer service from Plenty River - I received my order within just a few days, which I was pleasantly surprised about. I did give Plenty River a call for an installation question and they were very friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.
Quite pleased with my purchase. It arrived much quicker than I anticipated and was packaged securely. The heater works very well and so far no issues although I had an issue when installing but the folks at Plenty River were very helpful.
